This Privacy Policy is designed to tell you about how Strova, Inc., and our affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Strova”, “we”, and “us”) may collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain through the “Strova Services” offered in the United States and Canada.

The “Strova Services” includes www.hicolugo.com and any other websites, mobile applications, and other services under the control of Strova, whether partial or otherwise, and all “Strova Products,” by which we mean any Strova products that synchronize or interact with any Strova mobile application (the “Connected Products”) and all other Strova physical products. By using the Strova Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Please be sure to read this entire Privacy Policy before using or submitting information to this site. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into Strova’s Terms of Service.

  1. Information Strova May Collect:

    1. Personal Information. “Personal Information” means information that alone or when in combination with other information may be used to readily identify or contact you, such as your name, address, email address or phone number, or other information about you that is directly linked to Personal Information. For certain Strova Services, we may request that you furnish Personal Information about a payment method, such as a credit or debit card number or other payment account information. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual.

    2. Usage Information. “Usage Information” means certain personally non-identifiable information that we or our third-party service providers may collect through our Connected Products and a variety of other technologies, such as cookies, that may automatically or passively collect information when you visit or interact with the Strova Services. Usage Information may include, but is not limited to, time spent on Strova Services, Connected Product serial numbers, location information related to use of a Connected Product, the type of browser, device, or operating system you use, or the URL that referred you to the Strova Services. If we associate Usage Information with your Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information.

  2. How Strova Gathers Information:

    1. Information Collected Directly From You. We may collect Personal Information when you register for the Strova Services, visit certain areas of the Services, purchase Strova Products, subscribe to any communications from us, or otherwise voluntarily provide it to us.

    2. To register for the Strova Services, you may need to provide Personal Information, such as your name, email address, zip code/postal code, gender, and birthday. For some Strova Services, we may also request that you provide additional information that helps us to personalize your Strova experience and improve the Strova Services, such as certain information concerning the health or physical characteristics of you or your child, or or the serial number of the Strova product.

    3. Social Media Connection. We may collect information, including Personal Information, from social media websites, such as Facebook or Twitter, if you choose to connect to your Strova account using your social media account. For example, when you log in with your Facebook credentials, we may collect personal information from your Facebook profile, such as your email address, profile picture, and friend list.

    4. Using the Strova Services. We may collect Personal Information and Usage Information from you as you use the Strova Services. For example, we may collect information related to your use of a Connected Product when it syncs with your Strova mobile application through Bluetooth technology or a Wi-Fi network. We may collect certain information depending on how you use the Strova Services. For example, we may collect the serial number of your Strova Product. If you use the Strova Services on a mobile device, we may collect information from your device, including a device ID or location data.

    5. Your User Content. “User Content” means the information that you may post, submit, upload, publish, display, transmit, or otherwise share through the Strova Services, including but not limited to data, text, files, software, sound, photos, videos, graphics, artwork, ideas, opinions, status updates, comments, and “likes.” We may not consider all User Content to be Personal Information, so please use caution and common sense when sharing or posting.

    6. Customer Care. We may collect Personal Information and Usage Information through your communications with our Strova Customer Care team.

    7. Payment Method Information. Some Strova Services may require you to furnish certain financial information, such as credit card or other payment account information.

    8. Location Information from Your Mobile Device. Certain Strova Services, such as Connected Products, may use location-based components. For example, to provide these features, we or our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location information, including the real-time geographic location of your mobile device. Location information includes, but is not limited to, any information we derive in order to identify your geographic position. This information may be collected from your wireless carrier, certain third party service providers, or directly from the mobile device with which you use or access the Strova Services. The collection and tracking of your location information may occur even when the Strova Services, including any mobile application, are not actively open and running. Your location information, however, is only displayed and shared in accordance with your established privacy settings.

    9. Cookies, Automatic Data Collection, and Related Technologies. When you access or use the Strova Services, we and third parties that may provide certain functionality on the Strova Services, such as social media or advertising networks, may engage, receive, collect, and store certain types of information through automatic data collection tools including cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, embedded web links, and similar technology. These technologies may collect information including, but not limited to, information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, the date and time that you use the Strova Services, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, and information about your mobile device. Cookies are small text files placed in visitors’ web browsers to store their preferences or provide certain functionality. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Strova Services may not work properly. By using the Services, you are authorizing us to gather, parse, and retain data, including Personal Information, related to the provision of the Strova Services.

  3. How Strova Uses Your Information:

    1. Internal and Service-Related Usage. We use information, including Personal Information, for internal and service-related purposes only and may provide it to third parties to allow us to facilitate the Strova Services. We may use and retain any data we collect to provide and improve the Strova Services.

    2. Your User Content Posted to the Strova Services. You may choose to post User Content to the Strova Services, for example, when you comment on a Strova blog on our website. When you post User Content, our employees and service providers may review it to categorize and add information about it. Your User Content will be publicly available, so do not post any information that you want to keep private. Strova reserves the right to remove User Content for any reason without notice to you.

    3. Service Communications. We may contact you using the email address you provide to us to verify your account and for informational and operational purposes, such as account management, customer service, or system maintenance.

    4. Marketing. We do not rent, sell, or share Personal Information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission. We also do not provide any Personal Information to any third-party ad networks. We may use your Personal Information and other information to communicate with you by email, text message, or push notification to provide you with information we think may be of interest to you. In Canada, we will send such messages only with your consent, which we will ask you for when you register your Strova account or provide us with your email address. In both the United States and Canada, you may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the opt-out link in an email. We will send you text messages only with your consent, which we will ask you for at the time you provide us with your mobile telephone number.

    5. Aggregate Data. We may de-identify and aggregate data collected through the Strova Services and use it for any purpose. It is important to remember that such information does not identify you individually.

  4. How Strova May Share Your Information:

    1. Vendors and Service Providers. We may share any information, including Personal Information, that we receive with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of the Strova Services. For example, we may use a third-party service provider to process payments, and in such cases, we will share applicable Personal Information, including payment method information, with that provider as necessary to fulfill your order.

    2. Social Networking and Other Website Services. The Strova Services may allow you to share information, including Personal Information, with third-party services and social networking websites, such as Facebook and Twitter. We do not share your Personal Information with them unless you direct the Strova Services to share it. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.

    3. As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your Personal Information, other account information, and content if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; respond to your requests; or protect yours’, ours’ or others’ rights, property, or safety.

    4. Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. We cannot control how such entities may use or disclose such information.

    5. With Your Consent. We may also disclose your Personal Information with your permission.

  5. Third Party Websites and Applications:

    1. Links to Third Party Websites. The Strova Services may contain links to certain third party websites. We do not own, control, or operate such linked sites, and we are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of such linked sites. Privacy policies and practices for such linked sites may differ from this Privacy Policy and our practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of such linked sites before disclosing your personal information on such sites, as those privacy policies will apply to information collected through those third party websites.

    2. Third Party Applications. You may be able to access certain third party applications or content (collectively, “Third Party Applications”) via your Strova account. If you choose to access these Third Party Applications, you may be requested to log-in and sync your Strova account with such applications. If you opt to use Third Party Applications via your Strova account, they may gain access to certain information that you have provided to us, including Personal Information, and they will use, store, and disclose such information in accordance with their individual privacy policies. The manner in which Third Party Applications use, store, and disclose your information is governed solely by their individual privacy policies and terms and conditions. We have no liability or responsibility for the privacy and information security practices or other actions of any Third Party Applications that you choose to access through your Strova account.

  6. Security of Your Information:

    1. We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.

    2. By using the Strova Services or providing Personal Information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Strova Services. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Strova Services or by sending an email to you. You may have a legal right to receive this notice in writing. To receive free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent from receiving electronic notice), please notify us at help@hicolugo.com.

  7. Children’s Privacy:

    1. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use Personal Information from children under 13 years of age without parental consent, and no part of the Strova Services is directed to children under the age of 13. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, you may alert us at help@hicolugo.com. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Information from children under 13 without parental consent, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.

  8. International Users:

    1. All Personal Information is stored on servers in the United States and is subject to American law. By choosing to use the Strova Services or otherwise provide information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy will be governed by the laws of the state of Delaware and the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with Strova or the Strova Services will be in accordance with the Terms of Use.

    2. If you are visiting from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the United States and processing globally. By providing your information you consent to any transfer and processing in accordance with this Policy.

  9. Update Your Information or Pose a Question or Suggestion:

  10. Changes to Our Privacy Policy and Practices:

    1. Posting of Revised Privacy Policy. We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any change in how we use Personal Information, we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on the Strova Services prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.

    2. New Uses of Personal Information. From time to time, we may desire to use Personal Information for uses not previously disclosed in our Privacy Policy. If our practices change regarding previously collected Personal Information in a way that would be materially less restrictive than stated in the version of this Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collected the information, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and obtain consent to any such uses as may be required by law.
